Joseph Goebbels

Dr. Paul Joseph Goebbels (1897-1945) was Minister for Information and Propaganda of the Third Reich between 1933 and 1945. Key figure of the regime, known for his rhetorical gifts and persuasive ability, promoted the purification of cultural environments and the wider dissemination of Nazi myths, making him one of the Führer's trusted men, which is why he appointed him Chancellor of Germany in his will. He committed suicide a day after Adolf Hitler, on the night of April 30, 1945, with his wife Magda.
