Juan Francisco Ferré is a writer, literary critic and PhD in Hispanic Philology. Between 2005 and 2012 he was a visiting professor and researcher at Brown University. He is currently an associate professor at the University of Malaga. He has published the essay Mímesis y simulacro (2011), the fiction collection Metamorfosis (2006) and the novels i love you Sade (2003), la fiesta del asno (2005) and Providence, finalist for the 2009 Herralde Prize. His novel Karnaval won in 2012 the XXX edition of said award. His new novel, the King of the Game, will appear in Anagrama in September 2015. He maintains the blog around the world.
