Juan Jose Martin Gonzalez (Alcazarquivir, 1923 - Valladolid, July 24, 2009) was an academic and professor of art history. It After working at the universities of La Laguna and Santiago de Compostela, went to the University of Valladolid where he remained until his retirement.

It belonged to the Academy of Fine Arts of the Immaculate Conception (Valladolid), the Fine Arts of San Fernando in Madrid and the Fine Arts of Lisbon. He was named Doctor Honoris Causa by the University of Coimbra in 2002.
