Juan Luis García Hourcade Zamora, 1952 Bachelor in Physical Sciences and Professor of Physics and Chemistry of Secondary Education. Member of the Advisory Committee of the Juanelo Turriano Foundation. He belonged to the Scientific Committee of the Real Ingenio de la Moneda Foundation and was Patron of said Foundation, representing the Royal Academy of San Quirce. He belongs to the Advisory Committee of the Science and Artillery Library Foundation. Winner in the year 2000 of the Historical Research Scholarship convened by the B.C.A. He has been President or member of the Organizing Committees of different International Congresses related to the History of Science, as well as Scientific Director or Commissioner of different scientific exhibitions ("Science, Artillery and Illustration." Segovia, June-October, 1992; "Science and Technique at the Artillery Academy. "Alcázar de Segovia, July 2008-January 2009 and, together with Mr. José Manuel Sánchez Ron," The Realms of Astronomy, The Heritage of Alfonso X. "Alcázar de Segovia, June-September 2009. Author of articles, works and books related to the History of Sciences and Techniques, among which include: "Copernicus and Kepler, The Rebellion of Astronomers" or "Meteorology in Illustrated Spain and the work of Vicente Alcalá Galiano ".
