Julián Rodríguez

Julián Rodríguez was born in Ceclavín, Cáceres, in August 1968. He edited and directed the Sub rosa art and aesthetic magazine at the beginning of the 90s. He is currently artistic director of the art gallery Casa sin finda and literary director of the Periférica publishing house . His work has been published in different stamps of the Random House Mondadori Group, both in trade and in pocket. It is divided into several blocks: - Antecedents (2010), which brings together their stories and poems until the year 2000. - The novels improbable (2001), No need (2006; Critical Eye Award for Narrative, chosen by critics of the newspaper El Country as one of the best books of the year) and the volume with three short novels The shadow and the penumbra (2002). That is, their fiction texts. -And the texts of "nonfiction" of the autobiographical cycle in progress, which is already preparing a new installment, Pieces of resistance: A cheap holiday in the misery of others (2004, New Talent Award FNAC) and Crops (2008). In 2010 he opens a new cycle, called Pieces brief, which will be published entirely by the Errata naturae publishing house over the next few years.
