Karen Armstrong

Karen Armstrong (Worcerstershire, England, 1944) is an expert in the history of religions and the author of an extensive and prestigious work. In 1964, after seven years as a Catholic nun, she hung up her robes and, after graduating from Oxford University, she has dedicated her life to the historical study of the various creeds. Her work, translated into forty languages, has received many recognitions, including the 2017 Princess of Asturias Award for Social Sciences.
