Karen Joy Fowler - (Bloomington, Indiana, 1950) began her career with science fiction stories. His first novel, Sarah Canary (1991), received unanimous praise from critics and the public's warmth. They followed The Sweetheart Season (1996), mixture of comedy, fantasy and history; Black Glass (1998), stories with which he won the World Fantasy Award, and The Jane Austen Reading Club (2004), cult work that reached the top of the American charts. Out of breath, finalist of the 2014 Man Booker Prize, confirms Fowler as a brilliant figure of current literature in English.
