The artist Karina Schaapman spent years building and decorating the House of Mice, the setting for this special children's album. The beautiful little house is made of boxes and stone cardboard, with old fabrics and all kinds of recycled materials (matches, buttons, bottle caps ...). It has more than one hundred rooms, corridors and outdoor spaces to explore. The mice that inhabit it have also been designed and created by Karina. The tales of Sam and Julia were emerging as if by magic while building the house.
