A sculptor in his early years, Kenneth Goldsmith (Freeport, New York, 1961) is one of the most challenging non-creative writers in the United States, named in 2013 the first poet laureate of MoMA. His books include: Soliloquy (2001), Day (2003) and Seven American Deaths and Disasters (2013). He also compiled an important selection of Andy Warhol interviews, I'll Be Your Mirror (2004), and is co-editor with Craig Dworkin of Against Expression: An anthology of conceptual writing. In addition to being a teacher and critic, he is the founding editor of the UbuWeb project.
