Kieran Setiya was born in Hull (England) in 1976. He is a professor of philosophy at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a discipline in which he studied at Oxford and in which he received a doctorate from Princeton University. In addition to In the Middle of Life (2017; Libros del Asteroid, 2019), he is the author of four other essays, among which Reasons without Rationalism (2007) and Knowing Right from Wrong (2012) stand out.
