Leslie Holmes, Professor of Political Science at the University of Melbourne, is a recognized international expert on corruption. He has given classes or given workshops in universities and institutions in Poland, Italy, China, Austria, Serbia and Bulgaria, among other countries. He is author of works like Rotten States? (Duke University Press, 2006) and Communism. A Very Short Introduction (Oxford University Press, 2009). Since 1995 he is a member of the Australian Academy of the Social Sciences.
