Liz Rideal teaches Fine Arts at the Slade School of Art in London and participates in museum visits through the Education department of the National Portrait Gallery in London. Her own work has been exhibited in public collections at the Tate, the Victoria & Albert Museum, the British Museum, the Yale Center for British Art, the Portland Museum of Art, and the George Eastman House. She is the author of "Mirror, Mirror: Self-Portraits by Women Artits" (2002) and "Self-Portraits" (2005).
