Between September 21 and 25, 2015, Slavoj Žižek brought together students, young researchers and professors in Granada to think together, deeply and radically, our time from the fundamental assumptions of his work. But who is Žižek, that genuine philosophical animal that knows how to listen and read like nobody else? The most decisive intellectual of our time concentrates an infinity of certainly overwhelming facets: the brilliant speaker full of tics; the dazzling cultural critic and film critic without peer; the dissident communist politician; the heterodox materialist philosopher, acute reader - and actualizer - of Hegel; the impenitent humorist; the scourge of the stark capitalism that corrodes everything ... the translator of what happens. It took a book to open it on the channel, a task that Žižek himself lends himself to - and entrusts - on these pages.
