Luis Chiozza was born in Buenos Aires in 1930 and graduated as a doctor in 1955. He is Director of the Weizsaecker Center for Medical Consultation and the Teaching and Research Institute of the Luis Chiozza Foundation. He is Honorary President of the Istituto di Ricerca Psicosomatica-Psicoanalitica Arminda Aberastury of Perugia. He is a member of the Advisory Committee of the International Journal of Neuropsychoanalysis and Analytic Psychotherapy and Psychopathology. Member of the Seminar Promoting Committee, at the Istituto di Psicologia, Facoltà Medica, Università degli Studi di Milano, and member of the International Consulting Committee of the Rivista della Società Italiana di Antropologia Medica.
