Honorary Professor at ESADE Ramon Llull University of Barcelona, which has been Professor of International Economics until January 2006 he is a visiting professor of Central America (El Salvador) University "Jose Simeon Cañas" of San Salvador, where he was also professor ordinary and academic vice chancellor. He worked six years as a specialist in education, science and technology at the Inter-American Development Bank in Washington, with whom he continued to work after retirement. He has published sixteen books on economic and social issues, especially addressing issues of international trade, development, international monetary system and globalization. In his books, technical issues are steeped in a supportive, realistic and universalistic social philosophy. In this same Editorial has published Global Neoliberalism. His latest book is Africa sin of Europe (2006). He contributes regularly to El Periódico de Catalunya and occasionally El País, five days and Expansion.
