Luis Escoriza Morera, a graduate in Hispanic Philology and in Linguistics and a doctor in Linguistics, is a full professor at the University and coordinator of the Degree in Linguistics and Applied Languages at the University of Cádiz, in whose General Linguistics Area (Department of Philology) he develops his activities teachers and researchers. Member of the "Semainein" Research Group, he is the author of different publications in the field of sociolinguistics and linguistic variation, lexicography, discursive typology, linguistic historiography or linguistic policy and planning and has participated in numerous teaching and research projects. , fundamentally in the fields of semantics, sociolinguistics and linguistic strategies in the field of social communication.
