Lyn Hejinian

He was born on May 17, 1941, in the Bay Area of San Francisco. He is a poet, essayist and translator. Between 1976 and 1984 he was editor of "Tumba Press", and later from 1981 to 1999, Journal of Poetics beside Barrett Watten. Today co-edits "tie them" a publishing company dedicated to disseminating works without a predefined genre.
Her books include titles like Writing is an Aid to Memory, The Language of Inquiry, Oxota: A Short Russian Novel and My Life, now first published integrally in our language. As a translator excel work with the work of Russian poet Arcadii Dragomoshchenko represented in Description and Xenia.
Currently lives in Berkeley and teaches at the campus of the University of California in the same city.
