Manuel Ortuño Martinez, BA in Political Science and a PhD in History of America, has been a professor of political science at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). There he published anthology of political ideas (1966), Introduction to the study of tourism (1966) and Theory and practice of modern linguistics (1978 and reprints). Since the 1990s, is dedicated to research personality Navarro-Mexican Xavier Mina, and the result of this published: Mina and Mier, a meeting (1996), Xavier Mina, partisan, liberal, insurgent (2000), Xavier Mine. Frontiers of Freedom (2003) and Expedition to New Spain Xavier Mina (2006).
