Marcel Proust

Valentin Louis Georges Eugène Marcel Proust was born on July 10, 1871 in Auteuil, France and died on November 18, 1922 in Paris. After the death of his mother, in 1905 he suffered a deep depression, as a result of which he remained isolated from the outside world. In that year he began to write what is considered his masterpiece, In Search of Lost Time, published between 1913 and 1927 in seven parts. His texts written for the magazine Le Mensuel, signed almost all with pseudonym, were until today unknown in the Spanish language.
