Marek Sobczyk

Marek Sobczyk, born in Paris in 1954, to a Polish mother and French father, is self-taught painter, his spirit form, on the one hand, the hub of the Central European humanist tradition, and, secondly, on the line of the French literary tradition conceptual nature, which leads him to a cosmopolitan and open about different disciplines (the mural, scenery, writing and painting) pathway.
His constant interest in philosophy and poetry, as well as their relationship to the field of visual arts led him to work and research in different parts of Europe.
I lived in Venice, a grant from the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to study the mural techniques.
In 1991 opened a workshop in the north of Holland where he worked with artist Robert Hogervorst in draft magazine philosophical and social nature in relation to the thought of Joseph Beuys, resulting in numerous conferences and meetings. After a trip to Iceland, related to the study of the landscape concept, is invited by Noesis Barcelona Foundation.
Currently lives in Madrid.
In 2001 he published his first book Noise body. His paintings have been exhibited in various galleries and institutions in various catalogs and collection.
