María Lois

Professor of Political Geography at the Faculty of Political Sciences and Sociology of the Complutense University of Madrid. She is deputy director of the journal Geopolitics (s) and coordinator of the Research Committee on Political and Cultural Geography (RC15) of the International Political Science Association (IPSA-AISP). She collaborated with the Presidential Representation for the Bolivian Constituent Assembly and the Autonomous Referendum (REPAC) and is a guest professor in the Master's Degree in Geopolitics of Natural Resources at the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés (UMSA, La Paz). Among her publications, it is worth mentioning the books Decolonial Strategies in Stateless Communities (2020) and Construir Galicia (s): place, elections and nationalist politics (2015), as well as numerous articles in international and Spanish academic journals.
