Mariela Michelena is a psychoanalyst and full member with a didactic function of the Madrid Psychoanalytic Association (International Psychoanalytic Association). She has developed her clinical activity in Caracas, Houston and Lima. She currently works as a psychoanalyst in her private practice in Madrid. She is recognized for her work in disseminating psychoanalysis thanks to her intense activity as a lecturer and the frequent publication of her articles in national magazines and press.
