Mario Martínez Zauner (Madrid, 1983) is a historian and anthropologist. He has worked as a documentary filmmaker in various publications on the civil war and the dictatorship such as The Battle of the Ebro, The Battle of Madrid, The Art of Killing or La furia y el silencio. He has also participated as an author in the collective work on the Carabanchel prison, Places of Repression, Landscapes of Memory, and has coordinated the collective work Past of political violence: memory, discourse and staging.
