He was born in Mexico City on April 22, 1983. He studied the Diploma in Literary Creation at the SOGEM School of Writers. He has participated in literary creation workshops, writing and literature seminars at the Casa del Lago Juan José Arreola. He has worked as an editor and style editor. He has published narrative and poetry texts in Lenguaraz, Picnic, Opción and Monolito, among other periodicals. Fellow of the Young Creators program at Fonca in 2008-2009, in the novel category, and in 2010-2011, in the short story category. Acapulco National Short Story Prize in its Ink 2013 for “La púa del erizo”. Julio Torri National Short Story Prize 2013 for The Line of Metamorphoses. First place in the XIII Juan José Arreola National Short Story Competition 2014 for Spilled Death. Juan Rulfo Fine Arts Award for First Novel 2015, for Black Bile. His work has also been collected in various anthologies, including To read them all. Anthology of micro stories (Guanajuato, 2009).
