Matsuo  Bashō 

Matsuo Basho (1644-1694) is considered not only as the greatest Japanese haiku poet, but also as the best Japanese poet of all time. Born and raised as a samurai, at twenty-three became Ronin, before the death of his feudal lord; but instead of following the path of arms was guided by the letters. He studied Chinese classics, Zen and the teachings of Confucius, and became an itinerant monk. He traveled the lands of the island of Honshū in several pilgrimages. Basho died for physical loss that will cause one of his wanderings ones. Thanks Matsuo Basho haiku stopped being a fun and inconsequential to become a hymn to nature life inserted into the cosmic life, where as Nexus beats human life literary entertainment.
