Melina Furman

She is a biologist (UBA) and a master's and doctorate in Education (Columbia University). She is a researcher at Conicet and a professor at the School of Education of the University of San Andrés. Research how to create environments that empower curious, critical, and creative thinking from kindergarten to adulthood. For this, it works with innovation programs throughout the country and in Latin America, advising schools and teacher training, writing books and collaborating with ministries of education and organizations in the region. Convinced that science is an adventure that we can all enjoy, she created the association Expedition Science and hosted the program The House of Science for the Paka Paka TV channel. In his intention to spread transformative ideas, he founded the course "The world of ideas" and organizes the TEDxRíodelaPlata events. She is the mother of twins, and with them she learned that games, conversations, and family activities can create a love bond with learning that will accompany them throughout their lives.
