Menena Cottin is a Venezuelan designer, illustrator and writer, based in Caracas, who spent many years in graphic design, and then began illustrating texts and writing. She never considered focusing on children's and youth literature, but her books reach conclusions so simple and creative that publishers placed her in that age bracket that makes life less complicated.
