Michael David Kighley Baxandall (Cardiff, August 18, 1933 – August 12, 2008) was a British art historian. Eventually Professor Emeritus of Art History at the University of California, Berkeley, he taught at the Warburg Institute, University of London, and worked as a curator at the Victoria and Albert Museum.
