Michel Faber (1960) was born in The Hague (Netherlands), grew up in Australia and now lives in the Scottish Highlands. Anagrama has published his novels Under the Skin, a finalist for the Whitbread Prize and taken to the cinema by Jonathan Glazer. He is also the author of the novels The Hundred and Ninety-Nine Steps, The Courage Consort and The Fire Gospel; and from the story books Some Rain Must Fall, The Farenheit Twins and The Apple: Crimson Petal Stories. He has won various awards for his stories such as Neil Gunn, Ian St. James and Macallan.
