He studied philosophy at the Complutense University of Madrid and studied Philosophy and Sociology at the University of Trier (Germany) where he also held teaching and research activities. He completed his DEA in Information Society and Knowledge in the Open University of Catalunya and his Ph.D. in Sociology at the Open University, where he was tutor Ethnography (Anthropology), Techniques of Social Research I and II (Social Work for four years ) Communities and Social Work (Social Work), and other educational activities.
