Professor at ITESO since 2009. He is a professor in the Department of Philosophy and Humanities (DFiH) of this same institution, where he teaches the subjects of Ethics, History of Philosophy V, Contemporary Moral Philosophies and Hermeneutics in the Bachelor's and Master's programs in Philosophy and Social Sciences. He is director of the magazine Xipe totek, member of the DFiH Council and researcher assigned to the Research Program of the same department and the Department of Human Training (DFH).

He is a level I member of the National System of Researchers (SNI).

Research lines or interests
Contemporary philosophy and moral philosophy, with special attention to authors such as Hans-Georg Gadamer, Richard Rorty, Jürgen Habermas, Alasdair MacIntyre, Ernst Tugendhat, John Rawls and Christine Korsgaard.
