Miguel Valderrama Castillo (Santiago, March 8, 1971, Santiago de Chile) is a Chilean historian. He studied Bachelor of History in the University of Chile and then pursued doctoral studies in History of Chile in the same university. His areas of specialization are historiographical theory, cultural criticism, epistemology of history and historiography. He is the main exponent of the so-called postmodern Chilean historiography. Since its inception, he has been a member of the editorial committee of the paper magazine Culture Machine and co-founder of the Palinodia publishing house.
