Milena Michiko Flašar was born in Sankt Pölten (Austria) in 1980. She studied German Philology, Romance Languages and Comparative Literature in Berlin. She is the daughter of a Japanese mother and an Austrian father. She lives in Vienna, where she teaches German as a foreign language. I called him Tie is her third novel.
