Mohammed M. al-Jabri was born in Morocco and is a professor of philosophy at the Mohamed V University in Rabat since 1967 active Moroccan Militant left is one of the leading figures of contemporary Arabic philosophy. His work epistemological clarification and renewal of Arab thought has resulted in his Critique of Arab reason, published in 1982 in Beirut.
