Nadia Battella Gotlib

Before the book appeared Clarice Photobiography (2008), Nádia Battella Gotlib was known in his native São Paulo and in his country and for his work as a researcher and teacher of Portuguese Literature and Brazilian Literature, linked mainly to the academic field in the University of São Paulo. His best-known titles were Theory story (Attica, São Paulo, 1985, now in the twelfth edition); Tarsila do Amaral, modernist (SENAC, São Paulo, 1998, third reprint). With Walnice Nogueira Galvão published Prezado Senhor, Prezada Senhora. Studies letters (Companhia das Letras, São Paulo, 2000). From the publication of a series of articles on Clarice Lispector (1920-1977) wrote A life account, outlook on life and work of the writer had five editions in Portuguese, revised and expanded in 2009, translated into Spanish by Alvaro Abós.
