Nancy Huston dedicates her work to the analysis of the female condition and uprooting. Born in Calgari (Canada) in 1953, her mother tongue is English but she writes her books in French. He has published numerous essay books, novels and plays, among which stand out, translated into Spanish, Instruments of darkness (1998), Birthmarks (Premio Femina 2006, in Spanish 2008) and The footprint of the angel (2009) .
In her Essays collection, Galaxia Gutenberg has published Reflections in the eye of a man (2013), The fabulous species (2017) and You beautiful, you strong (2018).
