Nathalie Regard

Nathalie Regard

Born in Madrid. He lives and works in Mexico D.F. Nathalie Regard graduated from the Master of Arts at the Glasgow School of Art, Scotland (2005). She grows up in Chile where she self-taught as a visual artist, later moving to Mexico City (1997-1999). In 1999 she moved to Paris, where she began to develop large-format paintings (Beaume d'Ether: projet 2001). She has had group exhibitions in France and in Glasgow, La Galerie, Noisy-le-Sec Center for Contemporary Art (2001), Tramway, Glasgow (2005) and La Mazarine, Paris (2008).
In Mexico she has exhibited individually at the Autonomous University of Mexico (UAM-Xochimilco, 2000), the Factory of Arts and Crafts (Faro de Oriente, 2002). She exhibited at the Casa de Francia (CCC-IFAL) and at the Espace d'Art Yvonamor Palix in 2003, and in 2007 at the Myto gallery, in Mexico City. In 2006 she exhibited at the National Museum of La Estampa and in 2007 she was part of the II Universal Forum of Cultures, at the Center for the Arts, in Monterrey, her recent large-format work. The publication of the artist's book (Void Painting, 2007) was part of this exhibition.
