Negar Djavadi

Négar Djavadi - (Iran, 1969) is a writer, screenwriter and director. His family was one of the opponents of the regime of Shah and Ayatollah Komeini. At age eleven, he fled Iran with his mother and two sisters, crossing the mountains of Kurdistan on horseback to settle in Paris, where he currently lives. Graduated from the Higher Institute of Arts of Brussels, she has directed four short films that have been selected at several important festivals. In 2005 he won the award for best first screenplay for Après la pluie, les amoureux. Co-directs with Charlotte Paillieux Tiger Lily, 4 femmes dans la vie, a television series that won an honorable mention at the La Rochelle television festival.
