NICOLÁS GONZÁLEZ VARELA is an essayist, editor, translator and cultural journalist. He has studied Philosophy and Psychology and taught Political Science at the University of Buenos Aires, as well as translated into Heidegger, Graves, Marx and Pessoa, among others.

Author of several articles and studies on Arendt, Blanchot, Céline, Heidegger, Engels, Graves, Marx, Pound, Spinoza. He collaborates in different graphic and digital current and cultural media. His latest published works are: Nietzsche against Democracy (Montesinos, Barcelona, 2010), The Apache Nation Archives (Libros del Sur, Buenos Aires, 2011) and has been a translator and caretaker of the edition of the Cuaderno Spinoza, by Karl Marx ( Montesinos, Barcelona, 2012), as well as the edition of On Suicide, also by Marx (El Viejo Topo 2012). In 2013 he published a critical edition of texts by Fernando Pessoa: Politics and Prophecy. Political writings 1919-1935.
