Olga Barroso

Olga Barroso. Expert psychologist in gender violence, with extensive experience in direct care for women and minors who are survivors of sexist violence. For 13 years she has coordinated different specialized resources on gender violence of the Madrid City Council and the Community of Madrid. The last center in which she has developed her work has been the Unit for Attention to adolescent victims of gender violence of the “No te Cortes” program of the Community of Madrid. She is an expert in childhood attachment and trauma, she also has experience in intervention with minors in contexts of exclusion and minors who have suffered traumatic experiences in their childhood.

For more than 10 years she has been a trainer for different entities, such as the Official College of Psychologists of Madrid, where she is coordinator and teacher of the Expert of Psychological Intervention with Victims of Gender Violence (to date 7 editions), of the Online Course Tales and Metaphors to use in Therapy, and from the course Attachment Theory and Trauma, Techniques and Applications in Psychotherapy.

She is currently developing her work at Ikigai Psychology, a center specialized in psychological intervention from the theory of Attachment and Trauma. In addition, she is the co-author of the book Emotional Education and Attachment.
