He has told stories in Spain, Cuba, Switzerland, Italy, Greece, Australia, Brazil, Mexico, Venezuela, Belgium, and France.

He has been translated into English, German, French, Italian and Portuguese.

He has received the awards: Lazarillo in its two modalities (literary creation in 2008 and illustrated album in 2013); Alicante City 2003, Villa d'Ibi 2008, Reading is Living 2009 and three of his books are selected from The White Ravens, the list of the 250 best in the world that is produced each year by the Internationale Jugendbibliothek (International Youth Library), with headquarters in Munich. Hedgehog and Rabbit. Scare of the Wind, his first book with NubeOcho, has earned the Junior Library Guild Selection award.
