Pablo d'Ors (Madrid, 1963) is a writer. Disciple of the monk and theologian Elmar Salmann and grandson of the philosopher and art critic Eugenio d'Ors, he was born into a family of artists and educated in a German cultural environment. Study in Vienna, Rome and Prague. He was ordained a priest in 1991, a doctor in theology in 1996 and published his first book - The premiere (Anagrama) - in 2000. This series of stories was followed by the novels Las ideas puras (Anagrama, 2000), Andanzas del impresor Zollinger ( Anagrama, 2003), The Stupor and the Wonder (Pre-Texts, 2007), Lessons of Illusion (Anagrama, 2008) and The Friend of the Desert (Anagrama, 2009). He has been parish coadjutor and professor of mystic theology and phenomenology of religion (1996-2000), university chaplain and professor of dramaturgy (2001-2005) and hospital chaplain and critic of Central European literature at ABC Cultural (2006-2012).
