Pablo Iglesias Turrión

Pablo Iglesias Turrión is a Doctor of Political Science from the Complutense University, where he taught from 2008 until he took possession as a MEP in 2014. During his doctoral stage he was a researcher at several European and American universities. Bachelor of Law and Political Science (with extraordinary prize), he extended his training by obtaining a master's degree in Humanities from the Carlos III University and another in Communication from the European Graduate School, where he was a student of Slavoj Žižek and Giorgio Agamben among others. In 2010 he began directing and presenting the La Tuerka political debate program and since 2013 he did the same with the Fort Apache program. From April of that year he began collaborating as an analyst with some television programs such as Las Mañanas Cuatro and La Sexta Noche. In January 2014, he contributed to the creation of PODEMOS, whose candidature for the European elections led by obtaining 1.2 million votes and 5 seats in May of the same year.
