Pablo Martín Prieto is a professor of Medieval History at the Complutense University of Madrid. Among his lines of research, his studies on the mendicant orders stand out, although he has worked on different topics related to medieval society and culture, and the political, institutional and legal history of Castile. He is the author of highly popular works such as Culture in the Medieval West. A historical synthesis (2013), Mathematics in the Middle Ages (2015) and The Crusades (2019), among others.
