Pablo Población is one of the pioneers of psychotherapy in Spain. He is a medical doctor, psychiatrist and psychodramatic director.
Founder and director of the Institute of Group Techniques and Psychodrama (ITGP) (1970), it was the first center where psychodrama training began in Spain. He is the author of numerous publications and books related to psychotherapy. He has been clinical head of the Chair of Psychiatry at the Complutense University of Madrid and of the psychotherapy department of the Ciempozuelos women's psychiatric hospital.
Founding Member and Ex-president of the Spanish Association of Psychotherapy and Group Techniques (SEPTG) and of the Spanish Association of Psychodrama (AEP); Founding Member of the Psychodrama Section of the International Association of Group Psychotherapy (IAGP); Member of the International Association of Group Psychotherapy (IAGP); Honorary member of the Spanish Psychodrama Association (AEP) and the SEPTG.
He is a Supervising Clinical Teacher accredited by the Spanish Association of Psychodrama (A.E.P) and by the group psychotherapy section of the Spanish Federation of Associations of Psychotherapists (FEAP).
