Paul Hornschemeier was born in 1977 and grew up in Ohio. After moving to Chicago, he started the series Forlorn Funnies, which was the origin of Mother, returns home (Astiberri, 2005) and Let Us Be Perfectly Clear. He has worked for various publications and productions, including Life Magazine, Penguin Books, This American Life, Marvel Comics, and CNN. Other works of the author are The three paradoxes (Astiberri, 2008) and The life with Mr.Dangerous (Astiberri, 2011). He combines his work of history with that of filmmaker, he has directed several shorts both in real image and animation. He currently resides in Belmont, Massachusetts.
