Pedro Ángel Fernández Vega

Pedro Ángel Fernández Vega is a professor of Historical-Artistic Heritage and Ancient and Classical Art at UNED, in its centers in Cantabria and Vizcaya, and a doctor in Ancient History from the University of Cantabria, where he has been a master's professor. Between 2005 and 2013, he has been director of the Museum of Prehistory and Archeology of Cantabria and curator of exhibitions.

A regular contributor to National Geographic History, he has directed archaeological excavations at Roman sites and is the author of a wide repertoire of articles on classical archeology and several books on history, heritage, archeology, and museology. His titles include La casa romana (2003, 2016), CORRVPTA ROMA (2015). In Siglo XXI de España we have Bacanales. The myth, sex and the witch hunt (2018, 2020) and The shadow of Aníbal.
