Per Olov Enquist

Hjoggböle, 1934. Novelist, dramatist and Swedish literary critic. A graduate in Philosophy and Letters from the University of Upsala, he is considered the most important contemporary Swedish writer. Analytical, intellectual and experimental writer, describes very complex contexts in an essential and pure way. He has been awarded the Literature Prize of the Nordic Council in 1969 and has been nominated several times for the Nobel Prize. Between his works they emphasize: The visit of the doctor of camera, the library of the captain Nemo and the departure of the musicians (these last two will appear soon in Nordic Books).
