Peter Brannen is an award-winning science journalist and regular contributor to The Atlantic. He has written for the New York Times, the Washington Post, Wired, Aeon, Boston Globe, Slate, and The Guardian, among other publications. A graduate of Boston College, in 2015 he was a journalist-in-residence at Duke University's National Center for Evolutionary Synthesis and in 2011 he was an Ocean Science Journalism Fellow at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. This is his first book.
