Peter Linebaugh (1943), American Marxist historian disciple of EP Thompson, is a professor at the University of Toledo (Ohio) and a member of the Midnight Notes collective (together with Silvia Federici and Georges Caffentzis), a pioneer group in the study and dissemination of historical and contemporary commons. In Spanish, the book written with Marcus Rediker, The Hydra of the Revolution, has been published: Sailors, slaves and peasants in the hidden history of the Atlantic.
